Pantry Checklist

Keep this master pantry checklist on hand and you will always be prepared. 

How often do you get an idea of a dish you want to make, get home from the market and realize that you are out of one of the essential ingredients needed to make that dish?

Or, say you have these beautiful lamb chops sitting in the fridge so you go online to find a good recipe.  You do a google search only to find out you don’t have any of the ingredients in your cupboard that  you need in order to make any of the recipes?

Or how about coming home from work and seeing vegetables in the fridge but having nothing to pair them with?

Having a well stocked pantry is a crucial part of becoming a home cook. When you always have these staples on hand you can make just about anything, even if you don’t have any meat or veggies in the fridge.

Don’t get caught saying, “There’s nothing to eat” or “I could make that if I only had this” ever again. Keep a checklist like this handy and take inventory each week. If you used up something on the list during the week, grab it the next time you go to the store so you can stock back up and be ready for anything.

Once your pantry is stocked all you will need to do is buy fresh produce and proteins each week.
